About Denise
A part of the NY acoustic music scene for a quite some time, Denise enjoys sharing her views on life and love through her original songs, some of which have been said to tug at the heartstrings or evoke a chuckle or two. Denise also enjoys interpreting and stylizing others’ songs.
When not on stage performing, Denise can be found in her Junior High School Chorus classroom, where she feels honored to be each day.

Denise performs acoustic pop covers with percussionist Ray Jensen. Ray is a much sought-after percussionist; particularly as a conga player due to his unique, energetic and memorable style. He has been a part of the NY music scene playing such venues as Jones Beach Theater, Irving Plaza, CBGB’s and some of Long Island’s finest wineries. There is a special synergy when Ray and Denise play together that excites and energizes their audiences.WAVELENGTH enjoys playing in restaurants, pubs and at parties performing cover songs from the 60’s and up.
LONESOME TRAVELER
Denise teams up with Ira Perlman performing in the musical narrative, “Lonesome Traveler”, about Lee Hays and the Weavers. They perform in libraries, senior residences and other concert-like venues.
Denise is often called upon to lend her voice on other musicians’ works. She appears on CDs by Frank Gambino, Bill Lauter and Kenny Baum and has done studio recording for Patrick O’Rourke.
